Rock am Ring 2025: Electric Callboy eröffnet das Kult-Festival in der Eifel

Nürburgring. Das Geheimnis ist gelüftet: Die Metalcore/Trancecore-Band Electric Callboy aus Castrop-Rauxel eröffnet das Kult-Festival in der Eifel. Ein weiterer Special Guest wird für 15 Uhr auf der Utopia-Stage erwartet.

40 Jahre Rock am Ring: 90.000 Fans feiern großes Jubiläum

Nürburg. Seit Monaten freuen sich die Rockliebhaber auf die dieses Ereignis: 40 Jahre Rock am Ring. Die sozialen Medien sind voll von Rückblickvideos der letzten Jahrzehnte, es werden alte T-Shirts ausgegraben, Erinnerungen wachgerufen, und endlich war es dann soweit. Auch wenn die Wetterprognose für dieses Jahr wenig Hoffnung auf Sonne gab, machten sich insgesamt 90.000 Besucher auf den teils weiten Weg in die Eifel.

Neuwied. Am 16.06.2026 wurde eine 76-jährige Seniorin in Neuwied Opfer eines Betrugs. Gegen 11:30 Uhr kontaktierte sie ein bislang unbekannter Täter telefonisch und gab sich als Mitarbeiter einer Bank aus. Kurz darauf erschien ein der Geschädigten unbekannter Mann an der Anschrift und erlangte ihre Bankkarte samt PIN.
